Austria, Estonia, Hungary and Sweden. Teams coming from these countries meet in Leoben and get to know town & country. We are working on our ongoing project and look forward to having a great time.
The Hungarian team arrived by bus and already had a chance to explore Fürstenfeld, and Graz. Schloss Eggenberg impressed them very much and the chosen accommodation provides a hint of this castle like experience - Schloss Stibichhofen in Trofaiach.
Estonian and Swedish groups had a safe flight to Vienna and arrived by train.
Monday
Welcome! Get familiar with the school, meet friends from former echanges and finally get serious with work. Topics are fairy tales and Euopean archetypes creating a new European identity. Local references to the Erzberg and the related businesses of steel industry let us start with the tales of the waterman from Eisenerz. Based on several aspects of the story we start to create our "own" chimera creatures which may be of relevance for our life...
After lunch we get hands on and explore Erzberg, ride the giant "Hauly" and get blown away by the explosion in the mine.
Tuesday
A day in Graz means getting in touch with a lot of culture, sucking in the lifestyle and get to know more about the concept of world heritage. Guided city tour, museum, street life, shops and history. We are tired when we come back in the evening.
Wednesday
A lot of impressions over the last 3 days and we pack them all in a dance and stage performance. The students rehearse a play and later perform on stage. A video clip is made and will be available for download for all participants.
On behalf of Bgm. Dr. Matthias Konrad we are invited to the Rathaus Leoben. The guided walking tour right before this invitation makes us fully appreciate the small lunch. Information and greeting words by Kulturstadtrat Franz Valland and management for department of culture Mr. Samberger

Ice skating, Leobner Kirtag - a lot of fun for the last day together.
Friday
Farewell. Have a safe trip home and thank you for the nice time spent together :-)
